G Sanders (Builders) Ltd. is a family run business established by David Sanders in 1976 and succeeded by his family in 2016 after his passing.<\/p>
We at G Sanders (Builders) Ltd. are specialist brick and blockwork contractor whom, have been established for 48+ years and have an excellent reputation within the industry for outstanding quality, reliability and the use of only highly skilled labour. Our sub-contract packages have ranged from masonry, groundworks, joinery, decoration, strip-out, demolition.<\/p>
Over the past 10 years we have increased our relationships within the MOJ and MOD sector.<\/p>

1976<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 G Sanders (Builders) Ltd. started up as a small family business in Thurcroft doing small developments just Father and Son, building up a reputation as specialist brick and blockwork contractors.<\/p> 1990 <\/strong>\u2013 Our first large project was awarded at DHSS headquarters in Leeds valuing at \u00a31.9million.<\/p> 1994<\/strong> \u2013 Internal blockwork package, value of \u00a3750k at The Royal Armouries for Sir Alfred McAlpine \u2013 David Sanders was given the opportunity to meet with Her Majesty the Queen.<\/p> 1997 <\/strong>\u2013 Army Foundation College Harrogate valuing at \u00a33.3million.<\/p> 1998<\/strong> \u2013 Fiveways Leisure Birmingham \u00a31.25million and Monks Cross Yorks \u00a3800k.<\/p> 1999 <\/strong>\u2013 Brick and Blockwork at Printworks in Manchester valuing at \u00a34.5million.<\/p> 2004 <\/strong>\u2013 Nottingham University Broadgate student accommodation \u00a32.45million – Masonry Contract.<\/p> 2006<\/strong> \u2013 High Rise student accommodation as St Georges Close, Wellington Street Sheffield, and Kirkstall Road Leeds with leisure facilities and pod installation totalling at just under \u00a37million our biggest turnover year for Ocon Construction.<\/p> 2007 <\/strong>\u2013 Brick and blockwork on the Ramada Hotel Doncaster.<\/p> 2009 <\/strong>– Topp Way carpark, and Deane Road Carpark Bolton \u00a31million for McLaren Construction.<\/p> 2011<\/strong>– Oasis Meadowhall strip out for McLaren Construction \u00a3350k.<\/p> 2012 <\/strong>-G Sanders obtained CHAS.<\/p> 2013<\/strong> \u2013 Various strip out jobs for The Royal Mail with Wates Construction.<\/p> 2014<\/strong> \u2013 Masonry works at Loughborough School with Clegg Construction valuing at \u00a3350k<\/p> 2014<\/strong> \u2013 G Sanders began the process of obtaining security clearances to work within Her Majesty\u2019s Prisons.<\/p> 2014<\/strong> \u2013 G Sanders commenced works inside the first prison at HMP Leeds, this was the first of a current decade long run working within various prisons.<\/p> 2015<\/strong> – Masonry works at Leicester Care Home for Clegg Construction.<\/p> 2016 \u2013 <\/strong>We undertook more complex works within Tankersley Data centre over the duration of two years valuing at \u00a31.6million.<\/p> 2017<\/strong> \u2013 Full refurbishment of the Stephen Longfellow Academy, and a newbuild sports hall valuing at \u00a31.2 million.<\/p> 2018<\/strong> \u2013 We commenced works inside HMP Liverpool which have been ongoing for 6 years doing masonry remedials, strip outs, ground works and BWIC currently valuing over \u00a37million.<\/p> 2019<\/strong> \u2013 Social housing for The City of York Council \u2013 this project was ongoing for 3 years damp renovation works valuing at \u00a33.5million.<\/p> 2019 <\/strong>-G Sanders attended the ISG Supply Chain Conference Awards where they were nominated for the \u2018Speak Frankly\u2019 award.<\/p> 2019<\/strong> \u2013 G Sanders were assessed and approved by QMS and certified by Citation for ISO 9001\/ 14001.<\/p> 2020<\/strong> \u2013 Brickwork packages on Winsford and Chester Fire stations with a combined value of \u00a31million.<\/p> 2021<\/strong> \u2013 Groundworks and Joinery package at HMP Kirkham building a new workshop valuing at \u00a33million for ISG Construction.<\/p> 2022 <\/strong>\u2013 HMP Risley, BWIC for Fire Safety upgrades for Protec \u00a3800k <\/p> 2022<\/strong> \u2013 HMP Birmingham Masonry works and Brickwork valuing at 3.7million over 2 years.<\/p> 2022<\/strong> \u2013 Grimsby Care home for LNT Construction 300k<\/p> 2022 <\/strong>\u2013 G Sanders achieves Constructionline Gold Status <\/p> 2022<\/strong>– HMP Garth Groundworks, new lighting project \u2013 \u00a32.6million<\/p> 2023<\/strong> \u2013 New gate house building for RAF Menwith Hill Base \u2013 Henry brothers.<\/p> 2023 \u2013 <\/strong>Scarborough Hospital Masonry package value of \u00a3800k for IHP<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" G Sanders (Builders) Ltd. is a family run business established by David Sanders in 1976 and succeeded by his family in 2016 after his passing.
